Salifert Magnesium Test for use in seawater

With the Salifert Profi-Test Mg, you can easily, reliably, and quickly determine the magnesium content in saltwater. The presence of calcium and strontium does not affect the test result if the total concentration is between 300 and 500 mg/l, which is usually the case. Natural seawater has a magnesium content of approximately 1300 to 1500 mg/l. The concentration depends on the salinity. Magnesium concentrations that are too low make it difficult to maintain calcium levels and alkalinity. The test kit includes detailed instructions, an easy-to-read, finely graduated color chart, and a disposable syringe for collecting the water sample. The Salifert Profi-Test Mg (Magnesium) is sufficient for approximately 50 tests in seawater. The results are displayed in increments of 30 mg/l with a distinct color change.
