Thanks to their unique design—featuring light intensity and a spectrum that are 100% utilized by corals—ReefLED lights are 100% reef-safe & 100% REEF-SPEC®, ensuring optimal growth, vibrant colors, and an elegant, soft glow throughout the aquarium.

The ReefLED™ 160S is the big brother of the ReefLED series, allowing corals to shine and thrive in even deeper and wider tanks.

The ReefLED 160S combines 160W REEF-SPEC & Reef-Safe LED light with a patent-pending stadium-shaped lens, achieving beautiful, uniform illumination across an 80cm aquarium in all three directions. Multiple units can be mounted at 75 cm intervals, ensuring visual uniformity of light across the entire length of the aquarium. Only two units are required for a 150 cm long tank, and three units for a 225 cm long tank. The 160S is therefore the smart choice for larger tanks!

At the heart of the unit is a single, compact LED array that delivers 160W of REEF-SPEC & Reef-Safe LED light. It includes 140W of multi-wavelength 23,000 Kelvin REEF-SPEC blue (a proprietary blend of blue, violet, and ultraviolet LEDs), along with 20W of 9,000 Kelvin white light and a separate 3W channel for moonlight. This array provides a wide range of REEF-SPEC light that will delight both you and your corals.

The ReefLED 160S is also equipped with built-in Wi-Fi, enabling full control via the ReefBeat smart aquarium app (which controls all Red Sea devices). The app includes preset lighting programs as well as additional features such as sunrise/sunset effects, a moonlight cycle, random clouds, and even an acclimation program for new setups.

: The lunar cycle feature allows you to implement a 28-day lunar cycle with the 3W moonlight for safe nighttime observation.

Sunrise
Simulator By setting a delay time between multiple ReefLEDs, you can create a more realistic sunrise/sunset effect across the entire length of your aquarium

Acclimation
: The acclimation program allows corals to get used to the ReefLED lighting by starting at a lower intensity and gradually increasing the intensity each day throughout the entire acclimation period.

Clouds
: ReefBeat features 3 levels of random cloud movement, which provide a natural shading effect during a specific time of day.

 

Mounting Accessories

ReefLED 160S Mounting
Arm The individual ReefLED mounting arms are securely attached to the back wall of the aquarium and can be swiveled into the upright position during reefscaping (working on the aquarium) or other maintenance tasks on the tank.

When mounted at the correct height above the aquarium, the mounting arm can be adjusted to accommodate tanks with a width of 57–80 cm and a glass thickness of 8–19 mm.
