Kovi-X Disinfectant

Kovi-X is a highly effective disinfectant with a broad spectrum of activity.

It is effective against the usual suspects—such as fungi, viruses, and bacteria—as well as coccidian oocysts, worm eggs, and other parasites. Coccidia and worms, in particular, are a major problem in terrarium keeping and cannot be effectively controlled with veterinary treatment alone. Kovi-X helps as a complementary treatment here, as it kills the parasites in the terrarium, thereby reducing the risk of reinfection. A standard disinfectant is ineffective against coccidia, and the likelihood of the animals becoming reinfected is high. Veterinarians estimate that 85% of bearded dragons in Germany are infested with coccidia. To use Kovi-X, the animals must be removed from the terrarium, which should then be sprayed generously. Afterward, the terrarium must be washed and aired out before the animals are returned. Warning! Kovi-X is lethal to invertebrates, including spiders, scorpions, and mites. Make sure there are no residues left in invertebrate terrariums! Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use!
