Vacation food for all freshwater aquarium fish

• Provide your aquarium fish with a food supply lasting up to 14 days
• Directions: Place the food block in the aquarium. It sinks to the bottom and provides food for about 20–25 ornamental fish, ranging in size from 3 to 20 cm, for up to 14 days
• The block consists of a calcium compound that adds a small amount of total hardness to the water as it dissolves. It dissolves slowly as the fish consume the food
• Natural raw materials without artificial additives for a diet close to nature and healthy aquarium fish. Tested on JBL research expeditions in the tropics
• Contents: 1 food block for feeding

For owners, aquariums are the easiest pets to care for during a weekend or vacation trip! Very few fish species cannot be fed with commercially available food and will only accept live food.

For a weekend or longer vacation, the aquarium owner has a choice: Either they feed JBL PRONOVO BEL WEEKEND (for 3 days) or JBL PRONOVO BEL HOLIDAY (for 2 weeks), or they use an automatic feeder (JBL AUTOFOOD) filled with their preferred food pellets.

Most aquarium fish, with the exception of fry, could even go one or two days without food—just as they would in nature. But then many aquarium owners feel guilty, which is why JBL PRONOVO BEL WEEKEND is available even for short absences.

The food blocks in JBL PRONOVO BEL HOLIDAY and WEEKEND consist of a natural calcium compound that dissolves slowly as the fish “nibble” on them.

Even bottom-dwelling fish, such as armored catfish or loaches, quickly detect the scent of the food and will also feed on it as needed. Be careful when asking neighbors to feed your fish! Most people mean well but end up overfeeding them massively! As a result, large amounts of uneaten food end up on the aquarium floor and rot. This leads to serious problems with oxygen levels and the formation of toxic nitrite. A vacation food supplement or an automatic feeder (or aquarists as neighbors) is the better solution!
