This glass CO2 diffuser ensures even atomization and distribution of CO2 bubbles. The smaller the CO2 bubbles, the better the CO2 dissolves in the water and is subsequently utilized by the plants for excellent growth.

Why CO2

Food for aquarium plants
: Plants supply the aquarium with vital oxygen for its inhabitants, prevent algae growth, remove pollutants, provide hiding places, and reduce pathogens. The JBL plant fertilization system supplies the plants with CO2—the primary nutrient—through the water. The plants absorb this CO2 and, through photosynthesis with the help of light, convert it into sugar and oxygen.

It makes no difference to the plants where the CO2 comes from—whether from biological or pressurized bottle systems. They grow significantly faster as soon as a CO2 system is installed. The choice of system is more a matter of personal preference for the aquarist: whether they prefer disposable bottles, refillable pressurized bottles, or a non-pressurized biological system.
