JBL ProFlora CO2 Cylinder 500 U 3x - Set of Disposable 500 g CO2 Cylinders

The JBL 500 g disposable CO2 cylinders are quick and easy to install. Simply screw the JBL pressure regulator with an internal thread onto the external thread (M10x1) of the CO2 cylinder. With the pressure regulator attached, the CO2 cylinder is 37 cm tall.

Why CO2

Food for Aquarium Plants
Plants supply the aquarium with vital oxygen for the aquarium inhabitants, prevent algae growth, remove pollutants, provide hiding places, and reduce pathogens. The JBL plant fertilization system supplies plants with CO2—the primary nutrient—through the water. The plants absorb this CO2 and, through photosynthesis with the help of light, convert it into sugar and oxygen.

It makes no difference to the plants where the CO₂ comes from—whether from biological or pressurized bottle systems. They grow significantly faster as soon as a CO₂ system is installed. The choice of system is more relevant to the aquarist: whether they prefer disposable bottles, refillable pressurized bottles, or a non-pressurized biological system.
