General information about - aquarium floor heating

Water
Circulation In nature, aquatic plants grow better when they have access to seepage sources of nutrients. Plants draw their nourishment from these sources. As the gently warming floor heating causes water to rise, the cold water—rich in dissolved nutrients and minerals—flows downward. This creates a thermal current that carries the plants’ nutrients directly to their roots.

Easy Installation
When setting up an aquarium, lay the heating cable in even loops on the cleaned substrate. Secure the heating cable using the included suction cups (slotted suction cups). Route the cold leads of the cable out of the aquarium and connect them to the transformer. You can easily identify the cold and hot leads by the black lines on the cable.

Safe Use
To ensure safe use in the aquarium, the heating cable is silicone-sheathed and operates with an energy-efficient 40 W transformer running on 12 V safety low voltage. The transformer should be installed in a well-ventilated, splash-proof location. The substrate heater provides gentle warming of the substrate but should definitely be supplemented with a controlled heater (JBL ProTemp s) for warm-water fish.
Improved water flow through the substrate
The rising heat in the substrate improves water flow through it, providing plants with more nutrients and ensuring that the bacteria living in the substrate are also better nourished due to the improved flow, allowing them to carry out their metabolic processes more efficiently
