Animal welfare is a top priority: No use of low-cost fish meal; instead, fish meat from fillet production is used, following the motto: “The large fillet for humans, the small fillet for aquarium fish.” For years, JBL has supported “Shark Project,” the largest international shark conservation organization.  Feeding fish while you’re away on vacation can be a challenge. JBL offers food blocks for extended absences. This food lasts for an extended period and nourishes your fish while you’re away. The fish food is encased in a mineral block and dissolves slowly, gradually releasing the food.  An alternative to vacation food—for example, during longer absences—is an automatic feeder, the JBL AutoFood. The fish slowly extract the food by “nibbling” on the food block, ensuring they are perfectly fed for 14 days.
