JBL AquaEx Set 45-70 Aquarium Floor Cleaner for aquariums 45–70 cm high

• Removes metabolic waste, uneaten food, and plant debris (mulm) from the aquarium floor.

Contaminants on the substrate Food scraps, plant debris, and metabolic waste accumulate on the bottom of the aquarium (mulm). If there is a lack of oxygen in the aquarium, the mulm can cause the substrate to rot. Rot poses a health risk to the aquarium’s inhabitants. Therefore, it is advisable to clean the bottom at regular intervals. Easy to use Connect one end of the hose to the shut-off valve and the other end to the mulm bell. Secure the end with the shut-off valve to the bucket using a clip. The clip prevents the hose from slipping out of the bucket. Hold the mulm bell in the water and activate it by shaking (no need to suck on it with your mouth). Use the mulm bell to work your way through the aquarium substrate, section by section. To finish, attach the mulm bell to the edge of the aquarium with the clip and close the shut-off valve. Thorough Cleaning The small, round cross-section allows for cleaning even in hard-to-reach areas. The corner at the edge of the mulm bell allows for cleaning in corners. The suction strength can be adjusted using the cleaning claw. Safe Use The built-in protective screen prevents fish or plants from being accidentally sucked in.
