An 18-kg mixed box contains rocks ranging in size from 10 to 30 cm. However, most pieces are 12 to 16 cm in size. Due to the natural origin of the material, which was collected from the remains of an old reef on land, the shapes will be random and highly textured.

DD Marco Coralline Rock is a completely natural calcium carbonate rock now available in colored form. It is produced using a new, specially developed, paint-free process designed to simulate coral-covered living rock. The purple coral color makes your new reef structure look natural and established right away, while real coral algae will colonize the surface over time.

Sustainable

The natural rock is sustainably sourced from the remains of ancient coral reefs on land that rose from the sea thousands of years ago and formed part of the landscape of Florida, the Keys, and the Caribbean. Since the rock does not come from a living marine environment, it has no negative impact on the world’s sensitive reef or marine ecosystems. Since it is a completely natural reef rock, it has the perfect porosity for beneficial bacteria to colonize, helping to create a thriving ecosystem in your aquarium.

The rock’s calcium carbonate composition provides natural buffering capacity in the aquarium without negatively affecting the pH level. No additional hardening is required.
