Tropic Marin Salt - Classic

The Classic version of Tropic Marin salt is the ideal base for your saltwater aquarium. It contains all major and trace elements in natural proportions.

Tropic Marin Salt - Classic is available in the following sizes

• 2 kg box for approx. 60 l
• 4 kg box for approx. 120 l
• 10 kg bucket for approx. 300 l
• 25 kg bucket for approx. 750 l

Tropic Marin® Salt CLASSIC is the ideal foundation for the care of all marine organisms in the aquarium. The salt contains all the major and trace elements found in tropical seawater in their natural proportions and is free of artificial additives, nitrates, and phosphates. A high proportion of buffering substances in the saltwater stabilizes the pH value and prevents fluctuations.

Recommended Use

To achieve a salinity of 32–35 ‰ (psu), dissolve 35 ml of Tropic Marin® Sea Salt CLASSIC per liter of water in a container with water circulation. The seawater prepared in this way is ready for use as soon as the salt is completely dissolved and the solution is clear. The density of the seawater solution should be 1.022 to 1.024 at a temperature of 25 °C.

After setting up a new aquarium, stable biological conditions suitable for keeping sensitive marine organisms will not be established until several weeks of water circulation and lighting.

A weekly partial water change of up to 10% using Tropic Marin® Salt CLASSIC helps maintain the water quality in which your aquatic pets will thrive.
