Product Description
Tropic Marin Coral Clean - The cleansing dip for your corals
Tropic Marin Coral Clean is an iodine-based cleaning bath for new or existing corals. What makes it special is that it cleans your corals of the most common biofouling, parasites, and contaminants. For new corals, this is a helpful way to prevent uninvited guests from entering your saltwater aquarium. The treatment is completely safe for your corals and, unlike conventional PVP-iodine used for wound care, is phosphate-free.
Tip for Tropic Marin Coral Clean
Soak newly purchased or newly introduced corals in this cleaning bath to prevent introducing any uninvited guests.
Tropic Marin Coral Clean - Iodine-based cleaning bath for corals
New corals often introduce unwanted organisms, parasites, or contaminants into the aquarium, which can endanger the established coral population.
Tropic Marin® Coral Clean reliably removes the most common epibionts, parasites, and contaminants in an easy-to-use bath. The organisms that fall off allow for an immediate assessment of effectiveness, showing whether further baths are necessary.
Tropic Marin® Coral Clean is phosphate-free and gentler than other types of cleaning baths, such as Lugol’s solution or freshwater.

Recommended Use
Fill a glass or plastic container—large enough to hold the coral during treatment—with seawater from the aquarium. Add 1 ml of Tropic Marin® Coral Clean per 100 ml of water to the prepared container and mix thoroughly with the water. The new coral is completely submerged in this short bath and left there for ten to fifteen minutes. Before returning the coral to the aquarium, it should be gently shaken in the bath to dislodge any deposits and unwanted organisms clinging to it.
Coral crabs should be carefully removed before treatment and returned to the coral after treatment. The aquarium’s water quality should be checked regularly to maintain the health of the corals.
Note: In some cases, it may take up to two days for the coral to fully reopen after the bath.
