When installing, add an additional 10 cm to the height to ensure the roll can be replaced easily. When installed in the filter tank, the water level must not rise higher than 13 cm during operation.

Filter fleece rolls are available in 2 different pore sizes:
Aquarium filter fleece: 40 g/m², approx. 45 m long; Pond filter fleece: 20 g/m², 90 m long.

The Rollermat removes impurities from the aquarium water, thereby reducing the load on the biological filter and the protein skimmer. The result is clear water and healthy fish. The water is filtered through a fine filter fleece and automatically fed through a roll as soon as it becomes clogged. The filter fleece is so fine that even single-celled parasites, such as Ich, can be trapped. With a 12 V motor, 4 W.

The contaminated water passes through the filter fleece and enters the drum. From there, it flows back into the filter sump. When the filter fleece becomes clogged with debris, the water flow rate through the fleece decreases and the water level outside the drum rises. As soon as a certain water level is reached, a float switch turns on the gear motor, and the filter fleece is unwound a little further. Fully automatic! Depending on the amount of debris in the aquarium, a roll of filter fleece lasts 3–6 months. Once it becomes dirty, it must be replaced with a new one. The filter fleece is very fine. Even the smallest particles are trapped. The debris is removed from the system before it undergoes biological breakdown. This reduces the load on the biofilter and the skimmer in the saltwater aquarium.
If the take-up roll is full or the dispenser roll is empty, it can simply be removed from the filter and replaced with a new one.
