Tortoise Candy

Tortoise Candy is the ultimate treat for land tortoises, containing delicious pieces of fruit and vegetables as well as flowers that they particularly enjoy eating. The ingredients in this food are gently dried to preserve their valuable natural vitamins and minerals. Note: Even though this food has a high crude fiber content, it should only be offered occasionally as a treat due to its high fruit content.

Feeding recommendation:
Tortoise Candy can be fed dry or mixed with water. Pour 20 ml of warm water over 4 teaspoons of Tortoise Candy and let it soak. Stir and serve to the animals. Remove any uneaten food immediately. For dry feeding, place it directly in the bowl and ensure an adequate supply of drinking water. Due to its high fruit content, Tortoise Candy should not be offered more than 1–2 times a week. This applies in particular to Mediterranean Testudo species. Ensure a varied diet by combining it with other Lucky Reptile foods and supplements such as HerbiVit, PRO Mineral, or cuttlebone products. Tortoise Mix and Testudo Mix are available for a balanced main diet.
