Aquarium Heater: Fish adapt to the ambient temperature. The vital functions of these cold-blooded animals slow down as temperatures drop. The correct aquarium temperature is therefore very important to ensure problem-free feeding and proper metabolic function. The temperature at which fish feel comfortable varies depending on their origin. Easy installation Place the heater into the included protective cage. Select the desired temperature using the dial and submerge the heater in the aquarium at least up to the “min. water level” line. Secure it with the suction cups. As soon as the heater is connected to the power supply, the indicator light will illuminate. The heater can also be mounted horizontally, e.g., in turtle tanks. Optimal Temperature Transfer The JBL safety control heater provides optimal temperature transfer in the range of 20–34°C. The adjustment wheel ensures a control accuracy of +/- 0.5 °C. The maximum achievable temperature depends on the water volume and the temperature difference from the surrounding room.  Safety Control Heater Enclosed in a protective cage, it prevents fish from getting burned. The heater is waterproof, submersible up to 100 cm, and very sturdy thanks to its 2 mm safety quartz glass. If the water level drops or the heater is removed from the water, the safety thermostat switches off the power supply to prevent overheating. The heater is TÜV-certified.
