Healthy Fish An aquarium air pump is beneficial at night because plants do not produce oxygen in the absence of light. In aquariums with sparse plant life, the pump ensures the necessary water circulation.  In aquariums with dense plant life, the air pump supplies the aquarium with oxygen at night, as the oxygen level can drop to problematic levels due to the abundance of plants. In the event of disease, the air pump increases the oxygen level in the water, which is necessary for many medications.  Easy Installation Connect the hose to the air pump. Cut the air hose to length and install the check valve. Cut the remaining hose to the desired length. Connect one end to the check valve and the other end to the air stone. Mount the pump on a dry wall near the aquarium, if possible. A hook for hanging is included. Adjust the air flow at the air outlet.  Safe and Powerful The JBL ProSilent air pump is TÜV-certified. With an air flow rate of 300 l/h and a power consumption of only 3.9 W, it is powerful and offers safety thanks to an air connection with a hose fitting. A sound-absorbing air chamber, the reinforced housing wall, and vibration-dampening silicone feet ensure reduced noise levels. The unit features a check valve.  Important: Since noise cannot be completely eliminated, the pump is not suitable for use in bedrooms.
