The CO2 Taifun Spiral Extend is an extension for the JBL CO2 reactor. For example, when expanding an aquarium, the existing CO2 reactor can be quickly expanded and is then suitable for an additional 200 l of aquarium water.

: The JBL ProFlora CO2 Taifun Spiral Extend is designed to ensure a long contact time between the CO2 bubble and the aquarium water. The CO2 bubble rises in spirals and is increasingly dissolved in the aquarium water. The CO2 can then be absorbed by the plants and utilized for rapid growth.

: The JBL ProFlora CO2 Taifun Spiral Extend adds 5 loops to the existing CO2 reactor. The CO2 bubble thus has more time to dissolve in the aquarium water. After the extension, the CO2 reactor is suitable for an additional 200 l of aquarium water.

Food for Aquarium
Plants Plants supply the aquarium with vital oxygen for its inhabitants, prevent algae growth, remove pollutants, provide hiding places, and reduce pathogens. The JBL plant fertilization system supplies the plants with CO2—the primary nutrient—via the water. The plants absorb this CO2 and, through photosynthesis with the help of light, convert it into sugar and oxygen.
It makes no difference to the plants where the CO₂ comes from—whether from biological or pressurized bottle systems. They grow significantly faster as soon as a CO₂ system is installed. The choice of system is more a matter of personal preference for the aquarist: whether they prefer disposable bottles, refillable pressurized bottles, or a non-pressurized biological system.
