JBL ProFlora CO2 Cylinder 500 M - Reusable 500 g CO2 Cylinder

The JBL 500 g reusable CO2 pressure cylinder is refillable and features a thread for connecting a pressure regulator. The base is already integrated. The CO2 cylinder has the following dimensions: 43 x 11 cm, thread W 21.8 x 1/14.

Why CO2

Food for Aquarium
Plants Plants supply the aquarium with vital oxygen for its inhabitants, prevent algae growth, remove pollutants, provide hiding places, and reduce pathogens. The JBL plant fertilization system supplies the plants with CO2—the primary nutrient—through the water. The plants absorb this CO2 and, through photosynthesis with the help of light, convert it into sugar and oxygen.

It makes no difference to the plants where the CO₂ comes from—whether from biological or pressurized bottle systems. They grow significantly faster as soon as a CO₂ system is installed. The choice of system is more relevant to the aquarist: whether they prefer disposable bottles, refillable pressurized bottles, or a non-pressurized biological system.
