JBL ProFlora CO2 Cylinder 1200 U - Disposable 1.2 Kg CO2 Cylinder

The JBL 1.2 kg disposable CO2 cylinder is quick and easy to install. Simply screw the JBL pressure regulator with internal thread onto the external thread (M10x1) of the CO2 cylinder. With the pressure regulator attached, the CO2 cylinder is 37 cm tall.

Why CO2

Nutrients for Aquarium
Plants: Plants supply the aquarium with vital oxygen for its inhabitants, prevent algae growth, remove pollutants, provide hiding places, and reduce pathogens. The JBL plant fertilization system supplies the plants with CO2—the primary nutrient—via the water. The plants absorb this CO2 and, through photosynthesis with the help of light, convert it into sugar and oxygen.

It makes no difference to the plants where the CO₂ comes from—whether from biological or pressurized bottle systems. They grow significantly faster as soon as a CO₂ system is installed. The choice of system is more a matter of personal preference for the aquarist: whether they prefer disposable bottles, refillable pressurized bottles, or a non-pressurized biological system.
