JBL Proaquatest LAB - Test Kit

The JBL test kit comes equipped with all the water tests necessary for successfully maintaining an aquarium. The test kit includes a compact guide to help you perform the water tests quickly and easily.

The JBL test kit contains 14 water tests

• pH test: Water acidity from 3.0 to 10

• pH test: Water pH from 6.0 to 7.6

• pH test: Water pH from 7.4 to 9.0

• O2 test: Determination of the oxygen content

• CO2 test: Determines the carbon dioxide content for vigorous plant growth

• GH test: Determination of total hardness

• KH test: pH stability of the water

• PO4 Test: Determination of phosphate content

• NH4 / NH3 Test: Indicates non-toxic ammonium; determines toxic ammonia using a chart

• NO2 Test: Determining the level of nitrite, a nitrogen compound toxic to fish

• NO3 Test: Determination of nitrate content

• Fe Test: Determination of iron content for fertilizer control

• K Test: Determination of potassium, a plant nutrient

• Cu Test: A heavy metal that is lethal to invertebrates. Also important for adjusting the therapeutic dose of medications

• SiO₂ Test: Determination of silicates, which cause diatom blooms

All water tests are

• A simple and safe way to monitor aquarium water parameters. Determination of: pH (3 ranges), carbonate hardness, total hardness, ammonium/ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, phosphate, iron, copper, silicate, oxygen, and CO₂ calculation via a table

• Add reagents to water samples, compare with the color chart, read the values, and check the data sheet to see if and what actions are recommended

• The natural color of the water is accounted for by the comparator system. CO2 content is determined via the pH and KH values using a table

• Includes child-resistant reagent bottles in a waterproof plastic case. Refill reagents are available separately

• Contents: 1 test kit including 13 tests, 12 glass cuvettes, 2 syringes, 3 measuring spoons, thermometer, comparator block, 2 plastic cuvettes, color charts, CO2 table, ballpoint pen, data sheets, instruction manual
