JBL PROTEMP Cooler x300 - Cooling fan for freshwater and saltwater aquariums from 90 to 300 liters

Temperature Control - Two key factors affect the water temperature in an aquarium: room temperature and sunlight. If the room temperature rises significantly in the summer, it’s important to check the temperature in the aquarium regularly. The target range is 24–26°C. Temperatures above 30 °C are very problematic and can cause significant damage to fish and plants. Aquariums should also never be exposed to direct sunlight. The higher the temperature, the less oxygen—which is vital for the animals—dissolves in the water.

• Cool the water temperature by 2–4 °C when the ambient temperature is high: Cooling fan with a modern cross-flow fan and wide airflow for aquariums

• Easy installation on the aquarium rim: maximum glass thickness 2.4 cm. Airflow direction freely adjustable, and housing rotates 360° on the mount. Connect the power supply

• and plug the power supply into an outlet—the cooler runs

• Water cooling via airflow at the water surface = evaporative cooling. Expandable with the JBL CoolControl temperature controller

Easy installation
: The cooling fan mount is placed on the edge of the aquarium (up to a maximum thickness of 2.4 cm) and secured with clamping screws.

Evaporative
cooling: The JBL xCooler for freshwater and saltwater aquariums uses cross-flow fans to lower the water temperature by 2–4 °C. The airflow causes the warm water at the surface to evaporate, thereby generating evaporative cooling. This is comparable to the evaporative cooling effect of a wet part of the body exposed to the wind.

Safety
The water cooler is equipped with a safety cover grille and operates on a low voltage of 12 V.
