Easy to use: Detach the floating inner element from the outer element and place it on the water’s surface at the edge of the aquarium. Hold the outer element close to the aquarium glass to attract the floating component. Guide the magnet across the aquarium glass from the outside using gentle circular motions.  Convenient handling A protruding edge allows for cleaning even in hard-to-reach areas, such as behind the aquarium’s technical equipment. Guiding the magnet around corners is easy without having to reach into the water.  Aquarium Protection Thanks to JBL’s patented edge protection, the slanted edges help protect the silicone seams of the aquarium tank. The floating inner element cannot fall into the gravel and scratch the glass by getting stuck between stones. Furthermore, there is no longer any need to reach into the water should the magnet come loose.
