JBL Clearmec Plus is a specially developed filter media that simultaneously reduces three of the most common water pollutants in freshwater aquariums: nitrite, nitrate, and phosphate. These pollutants are the main cause of algae growth, stressed fish, and cloudy water. With Clearmec Plus, you can achieve crystal-clear, healthy aquarium water in no time—without using any chemicals in the tank.

Directions for Use

Before first use, briefly rinse the granules under running water, fill the included filter bag with them, and place it in the filter—ideally after the mechanical filter stages. Dosage: approx. 100 ml of Clearmec Plus per 50 liters of aquarium water. We recommend replacing the media after 4–6 weeks or if pollutant levels rise again.
