JBL AquaEx Set 10-35 Substrate Cleaner for Nano Aquariums

• A compact yet effective bottom cleaner for removing debris from small aquariums

• Directions: Hold the bottom cleaner in the water, briefly suck on the hose once, and the water will drain into a bucket.

• Submerge the gravel cleaner into the substrate, and the suction will draw debris from the bottom

• The square cross-section also allows for debris removal in the corners of the aquarium

• Removable protective screen prevents accidental suction of plants, shrimp, and fish

• Package contents: 1 Aqua Ex Set bottom cleaner. Ø 35 mm, 12.5 cm height, incl. 1.5 m hose (9/12 mm) 

Debris on the substrate: Food scraps, plant debris, and metabolic waste accumulate on the bottom of the aquarium (mulm). If there is a lack of oxygen in the aquarium, the mulm can cause the substrate to rot. Rot poses a health risk to the aquarium’s inhabitants. Therefore, it is advisable to clean the substrate at regular intervals. It is recommended to change about one-third of the water every 2 weeks. Easy to use Connect the hose to the mulm bell. Hold the bottom cleaner in the water and briefly suck in once. Due to the slope, the water then flows on its own, creating suction in the mulm bell. Move the mulm bell bit by bit through the gravel on the aquarium floor.  Thorough Cleaning The small, square cross-section allows for cleaning even in hard-to-reach areas. Safe Use The built-in protective screen prevents fish, shrimp, or plants from being accidentally sucked in.
