As the membrane in a reverse osmosis system becomes increasingly clogged, the quality of the ultrapure water deteriorates. Since the quality of ultrapure water cannot be determined by the naked eye, a measuring device is necessary. The PWT Ultrapure Water Tester allows you to determine water quality using the conductivity parameter.

Hobby PWT Ultra-Pure Water Tester - For Easy Determination of Conductivity

The PWT (Pure Water Tester) is a TDS meter that can be easily used to qualitatively assess the quality of process water (permeate) from reverse osmosis systems or to determine the water quality of ultrapure water filters and mixed-bed resins. Pressing the power button displays the current reading in ppm for 3 minutes. A rising reading indicates that the membrane or filter needs to be replaced, as well as the need to replace a ultrapure water filter or mixed-bed resin. The PWT can be easily retrofitted to any standard reverse osmosis system with a 4/6 mm hose connection using the included T-fitting.
