Tips for Water Quality
Every time you perform a partial water change, beneficial bacteria are also removed from your aquarium. These bacteria are essential for breaking down organic pollutants. By adding the HOBBY Bacteria Fit bacterial concentrate after each water change, you can maintain the balance of beneficial bacteria. If you continue to have algae problems despite regular water changes, this could be due to excessively high nitrate levels in your aquarium. In addition to biological imbalances caused by overfeeding, excessive fish stocking, or too few plants, the problem is often the tap water itself, which has high nitrate levels. In these cases, we recommend Hobby Nitrate Killer. This product quickly removes nitrate from the water through ion exchange and does not release it back into the aquarium water. You can regenerate Hobby Nitrate Killer and use it repeatedly. Aquariums already heavily infested with algae can be effectively treated with HOBBY Algae Killer.
