The Fauna Marin REEF ICP TOTAL Test is our most comprehensive laboratory test for seawater and includes over 90 different measurement and ratio values.
You’ll receive a complete overview of macronutrients, trace elements, nutrients, and contaminants, along with corresponding dosing and action recommendations.
With every REEF ICP TOTAL Test, you can also have your reverse osmosis water tested for contaminants at no additional cost.

We analyze your sample using the latest generation of inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometers.
These instruments analyze the elements reliably and accurately.

Our Reef ICP Total Analysis Kits contain everything needed for professional sample collection.
Filtering the sample ensures a reliable and accurate analysis of nutrients and trace elements, free of interfering suspended solids.

How does it work?

• Register on our lab website and create an aquarium profile to submit your sample
• Optional: Select your ICP consultant from the list
• Collect your water sample as described in the instructions and send it to us by mail (with tracking, if applicable)
• As soon as your sample arrives at our lab, you’ll receive a confirmation of receipt via email
• The standard turnaround time for sample processing in the lab is at least 1–2 business days
• You’ll receive your detailed analysis online on the lab’s website and a PDF summary via email

I have my analysis—what now?

• In your online account with Fauna Marin, you’ll find comprehensive information, as well as recommendations for action and dosing based on your analysis
• Calculators for various systems help you find and adjust the correct dosage
