Safely reduces phosphate levels to 0.04. Fauna Marin Phos 0.04 is a unique blended granulate that safely removes phosphates and yellowing substances from the aquarium system.

• Phos 0.04 is an innovative mixed granulate that safely removes phosphates and yellowing substances from the aquarium system 
• What makes Phos 0.04 unique is its safety in use, as the PO4 level cannot drop below 0.00 mg/l.
• Therefore, Phos 0.04 is safe yet extremely effective.
• Colors and nutrients are firmly bound to the material and are not released again,
• keeping the nutrient levels in the aquarium very low 
• Unwanted algae growth is effectively prevented, and corals can develop their natural colors.

Dosage

• 50 ml of Phos 0.04 per 100 liters of water
• After 5 days, you can increase the amount to up to 100 ml per 100 liters of water

Dosage Instructions

• Check the PO4 level regularly using the FaunaMarin PO4 test kit.
• It is not advisable to use PowerPhos when PO4 levels are very low.
• PHOS 0.04 is best used downstream of a UV clarifier and after fine filtration in a fluidized-bed reactor
• The flow rate should be 100–200 liters per hour. The slower, the better
• If the PO4 level rises again, replace the Phos 0.04 with fresh material.
