The well-known and popular Balling method is an extremely straightforward way to supply your aquarium with calcium, magnesium, carbonate hardness, and trace elements. Quickly and easily monitor the most important water parameters and top them off!
The Fauna Marin Balling Light Starter Set contains the essential components for easily supplying corals with macro- and trace elements and can be combined with any standard aquarium system. The Balling Light Starter Set is also ideal for beginners, as it allows them to adjust and maintain the key water parameters in seawater in a way that’s almost playfully simple.

Universally applicable

The Balling Light method is an extremely straightforward and modern way to supply the aquarium with calcium, magnesium, carbonate hardness, and all necessary trace elements.

The Fauna Marin Balling Light System is a complete, self-contained system that can be used in conjunction with all standard filter systems. It doesn’t matter whether you use a zeolite system, the standard Berlin system, or a natural filter system—such as one based on mud filtration.

With the Balling Light method, you add exactly the substances that your aquarium is lacking.

Dosage of the working solution yields approx.

ALK/KH 10 ml/100 liters + 0.5 dkH
CA 10 ml/100 liters + 11 mg / liter
MG 10 ml/100 liters + 5 mg / liter
 

Balling Light method for basic maintenance

CA 1 canister:
2 kg CALCIUM-MIX in 3 liters of reverse osmosis water, then top
up with reverse osmosis water to 5 liters TRACE supplements: 25 ml TRACE 1 Metallic Color + Grow Effect + 25 ml TRACE 2 Metallic Metabolic Color Effect
Canister MG 2:
2 kg MAGNESIUM-MIX in 3 liters of reverse osmosis water, then top
up with reverse osmosis water to 5 liters. Do not add TRACE 1, 2, or 3 to Canister MG 2.
Canister KH 3:
500 g CARBONATE-MIX in 3 liters of reverse osmosis water, then top up with reverse osmosis water to 5 liters.
TRACE supplements: 25 ml TRACE 3 Metallic Health Fluorescent Effect
