BALLING LIGHT SALT CALCIUM MIX

Balling Light Calcium Mix from Fauna Marin is a pure specialty salt designed to supply calcium using the Balling Light method in saltwater aquariums.  

Fauna Marin salts meet pharmaceutical purity standards and are packaged in protective packaging. Fauna Marin not only ensures compliance with the technical data sheet but also tests for organic and inorganic trace elements as well as the effectiveness of the salts.

With Fauna Marin Balling Light salts, you get the purest specialty salts available for marine aquariums. Fauna Marin also uses bioactive stabilizers, pH buffers, and special minerals in its salts, which significantly increase the stability of chemical parameters in aquariums. The added trace elements remain more stable in solution and are therefore more readily available to the corals.

By using salt blends, you can specifically introduce minerals and trace elements that are missing from or only present in limited quantities in standard marine salts. The addition of bioactive components, along with the purity of Fauna Marin salts, prevents corals from darkening and enhances their growth and color development.

The Fauna Marin Balling Light System is a complete, self-contained system that can be used in conjunction with all standard filter systems. It doesn’t matter whether you use a zeolite system, the standard Berlin system, or a natural filter system—such as one based on mud filtration. With the Balling-Light method, you add exactly the substances that your aquarium is lacking.

Dosage

• Approx. 10 ml per 100 liters = +11 mg per liter
• Fauna Marin recommends a calcium level of 400–440
• Start by adding magnesium, followed by calcium and carbonate; allow approximately 10 minutes between dosages

Dosage Instructions

• Calcium Mix is only available in Canister 1
• For the Balling Light method to provide basic care for your saltwater aquarium, use 3 canisters
• Dissolve
  2 kg of Balling Light CALCIUM-MIX in 3 liters of reverse osmosis water, then add TRACE supplements:
  25 ml of Balling Light TRACE 1 + 25 ml of Balling Light TRACE 2, then top up with reverse osmosis water to 5 liters

Storage Information

• The product has a shelf life of approximately 3 years.
•  Store in a dry place, protected from light, at normal room temperature.
• Avoid contaminating the product with bacteria or dirt.
• Ensure that children do not have access to the products, whether in use or in storage.

• The completely empty can may be disposed of with household trash or at recycling collection points.
• Please follow your local waste disposal regulations.
