Thanks to the Exo Terra Worm Dish, reptiles can see their food (mealworms), but the specially designed rim prevents the mealworms from escaping. Vitamin and mineral supplements can be easily added to the dish, and any excess powder can be reused. For easy cleaning, the Exo Terra Worm Dish consists of two parts.

Mealworms must be contained when placed in a terrarium. Otherwise, they will quickly “escape” and burrow their way through the substrate. They will remain safely hidden until metamorphosis is complete and they have turned into inedible beetles. More likely, they will simply die, and their decaying bodies will become a feast for harmful bacteria. The Exo Terra Worm Dish prevents mealworms from escaping; however, they remain visible to the terrarium’s inhabitants.
