The Multireactor is extremely versatile. It can be installed either as a freestanding unit in the filter sump or as a hang-on system attached directly to the aquarium. It can be connected to almost any standard aquarium filter type in bypass mode or operated with a separate feed pump. The Multireactor is suitable for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums.
Applications: The Multireactor comes with two different perforated plates, which should be arranged as follows depending on the intended use. For use with biopellets (e.g., DuplaMarin Biopellets NP), it is recommended to use the perforated plate with 3 mm hole diameter as the bottom plate to promote better turbulence of the material. When using finer adsorbents (e.g., DuplaMarin Siliphosal phosphate and silicate adsorbents) or filter carbon, the perforated plate with 2 mm hole diameter should be used as the bottom plate.
