Dosage:
1 drop per 50 l of aquarium water daily. Strongly oxidizing processes (e.g., the addition of ozone or the use of a trickle filter) in the aquarium may make it necessary to carefully increase the dosage. If a brown discoloration is observed in very light-colored or yellow small-polyp stony corals, this indicates an overdose. In this case, the dosage should be discontinued or significantly reduced.

The trace element iron occurs in natural seawater at a concentration of 0.01 mg. In the aquarium, it must be replenished regularly. Iron is an essential component of the protein ferrodoxin and is therefore indispensable for the photosynthesis of algae and symbiotic algae (zooxanthellae). The addition of Eisen 24 nano supports the growth of these important symbiotic algae and intensifies the coloration of the corals. In killer clams, the colors become more intense; in disc anemones, the tissue swells noticeably; and in cornucopia corals, the polyps open much more widely. A measured addition of iron promotes the growth of higher algae and the popular calcareous red algae. Manganese additionally supports chlorophyll formation. The trace element iron also serves as an important catalyst in biological degradation processes within the marine aquarium. Since bacteria require large amounts of iron for their biological degradation, a regular addition of Iron 24 nano supports all biological processes in the aquarium.
