Amino 24
is a special amino acid blend designed to promote growth and enhance color in corals.  Amino 24 contains a special blend of various proteinogenic amino acids, including several essential amino acids—that is, amino acids that are vital for life, cannot be synthesized by the organism, and must be obtained through the diet. 

It has been scientifically proven that DFAA (dissolved free amino acids) can be absorbed directly from the water by corals. The addition of proteinogenic amino acids is of great biological importance, as they play an essential role in the formation of peptides and proteins. They also play a central role in the growth, regeneration, and formation of color pigments in corals and coral tissue. In reef aquariums with very low nutrient levels, Amino 24 is an indispensable source of amino acids for all corals and filter feeders.  Amino 24 is also enriched with taurine, a byproduct of amino acid metabolism. Natural seawater has an amino acid concentration of 0.03–0.07 mg/l.
A daily dose of Amino 24 increases the amino acid concentration by 0.02 mg/l.

Aspartic acid, threonine, serine, glutamic acid, proline, glycine, alanine, valine, isoleucine, leucine, tyrosine, phenylalanine, lysine, histidine, arginine, methionine, taurine (2-aminosulfonic acid).
