We believe D-D offers a simple solution here to quickly and reliably detect overflow.

This simple device automatically prevents your protein skimmer from overflowing and causing backflow into your aquarium system. It uses a visual sensor attached to the skimmer pot that turns the power to your skimmer on and off should the liquid level rise.
