This transition metal is extremely important for the coloration and growth of coral tissue and other organisms in the aquarium.

Vanadium is rapidly depleted from the water in our aquariums. Therefore, it is important to monitor vanadium levels via ICP analysis and ensure an appropriate concentration and stability through targeted dosing.

The vanadium concentration in seawater is approximately 1.8 μg/l.
