Reef Zlements I Iodine - 150 ml

Iodine is a trace element found in reefs around the world and is one of the most important elements for all animals and plants in our aquariums.

Iodine is known to have a positive effect in aquariums containing macroalgae and to influence the blue coloration of the Acropora genus.
 
Iodine is depleted very quickly from the water in our aquariums. Therefore, it is important to check the iodine level via ICP analysis and ensure an appropriate level and stability by dosing iodine as needed.

The iodine content in seawater varies greatly, but there is broad agreement that a value of 60 µg/l is ideal.

Reef Zlements I Iodine, used in conjunction with regular testing, enables every aquarist to adjust the iodine level to ensure that the values in their aquarium remain within the optimal range for their animals.

1 ml of Reef Zlements I Iodine increases the iodine concentration of 100 liters by 100 μg/l.
