Bromine is a macronutrient found in all reefs around the world.
Although its physiological effects are still being studied, it is believed that some animals use it to defend themselves against predators. It is also believed that bromine supports good LPS/SPS coloration and health.
Bromine is a macronutrient that is quickly depleted in our aquarium water.
Therefore, it is important to check its levels via ICP analysis and ensure its stability by dosing a bromine supplement as needed.
The natural bromine concentration is approximately 65 mg/l.

Reef Zlements Br Bromine, used in conjunction with regular testing, allows every aquarist to adjust the bromine level and ensure that the levels in their aquarium water remain within the optimal range for their animals.
