Reef Zlements Amino+

Reef Zlements Amino+ is the “nutrient element” of the Reef Zlements method, a comprehensive system that provides macro- and trace elements along with the “nutrients” and food your corals need to thrive.

Reef Zlements Amino+ is a specially formulated blend of amino acids, carbohydrates, and vitamins that works in synergy with Reef Zlements Complete and the Reef Zlements Nutrient Management line.
 
Our proprietary formula is designed to enhance coral growth, coloration, and overall health. Therefore, reef keepers who begin using Reef Zlements Amino+ as part of the Reef Zlements method are likely to notice increased consumption of alkalinity, calcium, and all other elements. It is therefore important to monitor these parameters closely.

To achieve better results, Reef Zlements Amino+ should be dosed in an area with high water flow and spread out over the course of the day. To simplify application, Amino+ can be dosed using a dosing pump and does not need to be refrigerated.
 
The recommended dosages of Amino+ are as follows for the respective tank volume:

• Light (Soft, LPS & SPS) - 1 ml per 100 L per day
• Medium (Soft, LPS & SPS) – 2 ml per 100 L per day
• Heavy (Soft, LPS & SPS) – 4 ml per 100 liters per day

The dosage recommendations above serve as a starting point; you can adjust the dosage amounts according to the specific needs of your reef.
 While using Reef Zlements nutrient
management products and Reef Zlements Amino+, always monitor the visual appearance of your corals as well as the nitrate and phosphate levels in your aquarium water.
 
If you notice a brown or gray biofilm on the live rock or the appearance of algae/cyanobacteria, this is a likely sign that you are overdosing or that your nutrient levels are not ideal.
 Before making any
adjustments, make sure that all nutrient levels are optimal.
