Special Blend is a specially formulated bacterial blend designed to support a stable biological cycle in marine and freshwater aquariums.

Special Blend supports the breakdown and composting of organic matter and converts elements such as nitrogen and sulfur.

Special Blend is 100% organic and contains only live bacterial cultures, ensuring a clean marine and freshwater aquarium.

Special Blend has a sulfur odor that disappears completely after dosing.

Tips

• Ozone and UV light can kill bacteria; turn them off for 12–24 hours during use.

• For best results, add Special Blend directly to the aquarium during the light phase.

• Store the bacterial solution in the original bottle; otherwise, it will lose its effectiveness.

• When setting up a new saltwater aquarium, do not add Special Blend until 24 hours after the saltwater has been prepared.

• Always ensure there is sufficient surface area for the bacteria to colonize, such as appropriate filter media (e.g., ceramic rings).

• Bacteria can lower the pH level; check it regularly.

• Seawater inhibits bacterial growth; for faster results, add 25–50% more.

• After using medications, wait 72 hours before the next dose.
