Arka Premium Reef Salt 20 kg

Arka salt is synthetically produced and has the same composition as seawater. This transforms conventional reverse-osmosis water into seawater with an ideal composition. Its high solubility also ensures that the seawater is ready for use quickly.

Arka Organic Active Salt - Premium sea salt with organic ingredients

This special Premium Reef Salt prevents calcium precipitation and, in combination with magnesium and other ingredients, promotes rapid growth of red calcareous algae. Even the most sensitive fish and corals thrive.

Dosage

Dissolve the required amount of salt (33.4 g/l), preferably in temperate reverse osmosis water with water circulation. After just a short time, the water will be clear and ready for use. The salt density should be between 1.022 and 1.025 at a temperature of 25° C. We recommend a 5–10% water change every 1–2 weeks.

38 g dissolved in 1000 ml of fully desalinated water at 25° C yields the following values (approx.):

• Density 1.022

• pH 8.3–8.5

• KH approx. 8–10° dKH

• Calcium content of approx. 430 mg/L

• Magnesium content of approx. 1300 mg/L

• Strontium approx. 8.1 mg/L
