CARBOPURE Saltwater / Filter Media / Activated Carbon

Carbopure is a steam-activated, pelletized, and acid-washed premium activated carbon for crystal-clear water in saltwater and freshwater aquariums.

Thanks to its complex adsorption surface area of 1000 m²/g, Carbopure enables the rapid removal of organic impurities, undesirable chemical compounds, toxins, medication residues, as well as colorants and turbidity-causing substances.

Carbopure stands out for its extremely low phosphate release of max. 0.000001 g/ml and a soluble ash content of max. 0.3%.

Dosage:
Use 50 ml per 100 liters of water over a period of no more than 4 weeks.

Dosage after medication treatment:
Use 100 ml per 100 liters of water over a period of 1 week.

Dosage for ozone residues:
Use 200 ml per 100 mg/h of ozone input to remove ozone residues.

Tips:

• Rinse Carbopure thoroughly under hot running tap or reverse osmosis water to remove any residue.

• Place Carbopure in a well-circulated area, such as the filter or technical tank.

• Use the included filter bag for easier handling.

• Use Carbopure to remove ozone residues directly at the outlet of the ozone source and replace it at regular intervals.
