Makro Basic - Potassium

In a brightly lit and well-planted aquarium, or one with few fish, macronutrients may sometimes be insufficient to maintain healthy plant growth. Makro Basic Potassium supplies your aquarium with the essential macronutrient potassium. This allows your plants to thrive and grow vigorously.
Water changes of 25% to 50% per week are recommended. The dosage can be increased or decreased depending on the tank. If potassium levels in the aquarium are already high, this fertilizer does not need to be used. The fertilizer is designed so that macronutrients do not accumulate in high concentrations in the aquarium. If the fertilizer causes very high potassium levels, the dosage should be reduced.

2 ml of Makro Basic Potassium added to 50 l of aquarium water provides the following nutrients

K: 1.00 mg/l

Dosage per 50 liters

High light (>0.5 watts per liter) + CO2: 2 ml per day

Low light (<0.5 watts per liter) + CO₂: 1 ml per day

Without CO₂ supply: 2–4 ml per week
The dosage recommendation is only a guideline. The fertilizer dosage can be reduced or increased depending on the aquarium to achieve optimal results.

A basic supply of macronutrients to the aquarium is provided either through NPK fertilizer, Estimative Index fertilizer, or through single-nutrient fertilizers (Makro Basic Nitrate, Phosphate, and Potassium). The Aqua Rebell Makro Basic Potassium aquatic plant fertilizer is a very important component of single-nutrient fertilization. It supplies the aquarium with the essential nutrient potassium and is also ideal for shock fertilization (a single, larger dose of fertilizer), for example, after a water change. Potassium is one of the few nutrients that is supplied only in trace amounts through fish food and therefore needs to be supplemented. Tap water often contains only small amounts of potassium as well. The Aqua Rebell Makro Basic Potassium aquatic plant fertilizer is therefore very important for healthy aquatic plant growth.
