The Amtra Osmosis System 190 uses replaceable sediment, activated carbon, and reverse osmosis cartridges. The sediment filter and the activated carbon filter are separate filters that remove fine particles from the water, including chlorine. The reverse osmosis membrane is located at the center of the system; it separates the concentrated wastewater from the ultra-pure water.
