Young shrimp have higher energy needs, move around in small areas, and molt frequently. The Premium Shrimp Mix Starter meets these requirements. Thanks to its extremely fine texture, the food disperses evenly throughout the aquarium, ensuring every shrimp is fed. In addition, it consists primarily of high-quality green food, along with protein- and fat-rich ingredients, and is enriched with minerals and calcium. Premium Shrimp Mix Starter is the ideal food for shrimp during their first days of life.

In the first few days of life, shrimp move only within a small area and molt frequently. During this stage of life, they have increased energy requirements. That’s why they need food that disperses evenly throughout the aquarium, making it available to all the young shrimp. That’s why Premium Shrimp Mix Starter is extremely fine; it consists mainly of high-quality green food but also contains protein- and fat-rich ingredients, and is further enriched with minerals and calcium. This ensures the young shrimp receive the necessary nutrition and can meet their higher energy needs during this phase.

To ensure the food is distributed as evenly as possible throughout the aquarium, please add it directly into the water flow or the filter outlet. Please feed sparingly, as even a pinch is a large amount of food. It’s better to start with a smaller amount and feed a little more later if needed. This way, you can stay in control and watch the young shrimp as they eat.

As they grow larger, you can then offer different foods, such as Premium Plant S.

Once they reach a body length of about 1 cm, you can feed the shrimp the Premium Shrimp Mix, which contains both finer and coarser ingredients to adequately feed shrimp of various sizes in a single aquarium!
