However, the light spectrum for aquatic plants differs significantly from that of LED lights used in living spaces or flashlights. This refers to the photosynthetically active portion of the light spectrum, known as PAR (Photosynthetically Active Radiation), and a full spectrum that encompasses ALL spectral ranges of the visible light spectrum. Only by combining these two components was it possible to produce the perfect light for aquarium plants!

What Makes the New JBL LED-SOLAR Lights Special

• The JBL LED SOLAR lamps are available as replacements suitable for ALL fluorescent tube lengths

• The basic JBL SOLAR NATUR package includes, in addition to the light, a remote control for simple and professional operation. The IR remote control allows you to control multiple JBL LED SOLAR systems simultaneously, since the frequency of the IR receivers is identical. If you prefer not to do this, you’ll need to space the receivers slightly further apart. Then each LED unit can be controlled individually using the same remote control.

• The JBL LED lights provide full-spectrum lighting and are optimized for plant growth thanks to high PAR (photosynthetically active radiation) values. This is a result of JBL’s research!

• Practical mounts allow for installation in existing T5 and T8 tube holders; stainless steel clip-on mounts are, of course, also included.

Saltwater
: The JBL LED SOLAR NATUR was originally developed for freshwater aquariums, but has also proven very effective for saltwater aquarists, as nearly all cultivated corals originate from shallow waters where they receive full sunlight. Combining the JBL LED SOLAR NATUR with the JBL LED SOLAR EFFECT results in a color temperature of 7800 Kelvin.
